Hey guys,
I just bought a 70m Beal Edlinger 10.2 single for $135 from Moosejaw. Curious as I've been out of the loop lately if anyone's gotten a comparable 70m rope for less recently, sale, whatever. Thanks.

you may have gotten a better deal for a comparable rope. go to the forum thread page of ST and 2nd ad down on the right is "price finder". Also on Mountain project is a similar deal finder called "dirt bag deals". Gear X beats the price for a 70m 9.8 edelweiss.

I'm pretty sure the idea of comparative shopping needs to be done before you buy. lol That's cheap though. Enjoy the new rope.

Liberty had the Edelweiss Rocklight 9.8mm X 70m ropes for sale back in November for 89.95.
Can't believe I didn't grab one...

Earlier today, almost bought one from my usual go-to oulet - backcountry - for 200-plus! Glad I did more research this afternoon.
