At what point does the trust in true organics from these places become compromised?

I am kind of starting to consider the potential for inaccurate labeling.

We have several local-grower markets nearby, and the wife works at a health food store 4 blocks away, so we are not without resources or blind to the issues - just putting the question out there.

most dairy labled organic that is the big box store name brand...ie trader joe's, vons, ect. is from aurora organic. aurora and horizon organic are two of the coorperations who fight to lower the organic standard.

I thought the same thing when all of the sudden all of the Sprawl Marts and super sprawl marts started selling organic milk. Where did that incredibly large supply or organic milk come from basically overnight?

Do it for religious (or quasi-religious) reasons not for measurable benefits.

Wish more city parks would plant fruit trees and berry bushes instead of the usual non-edible flora. Home gardening is where it is at.

This town wants to fine a home $500/day to have a garden in their yard. Maybe you can ask their town council to plant berry bushes!
