So, I've been tinkering with my new scanner and thought I'd post this up,

Not sure if it's one that Steve has already covered, but what the heck!

Enjoy,

Steve B,

I have a complete set of Mountain, I think there are about 137 issues or so. Do you think would anyone in the UK be interested in buying it from me?

I'm not sure, set, singles and groups come up occassionally on UK Climbing and don't seem to get snapped up....

You could always post em up and see what folks offer, bearing in mind that there would be stiff postage charges for getting them anywhere - US or UK.

Cool.
One thing I noticed is that Henry cited John Stannard as recording protection grades (a, b and c). In 1974, I think that predates the G/PG/R/X in Jim Erickson's Rocky Heights (1980, but he had a rough draft in 1975).
Although I never saw John's ratings in print. Maybe because he shifted over to the minimalist format in his Seneca Rocks guide? (Just overlay lines on a photo).
Climbing with nuts magnified the variable protection availability on climbs, certainly.

BITD Hot Henry was the man, and it seemed everybody was out to tear him down.

I ran into him last month. It seems like there is plenty besides climbing that can keep a person busy and interested.
