hi,
n00b here. just want to ask your experience & opinion on the Rock & Lock buckle system of singing rock?
http://www.singingrock.com/rock-lock
I like Singing Rocks harness features and the price is within my budget. My goal is to get an affordable harness with place to put ice-screw holders/caritool.
The rock & lock system looks easy to engage/remove, and i am concerned on its safety, since it is more of a hook than a full closed buckle.
thank you.

I wouldn't use it.
Why fix something that's not broken?

looks fine. same physics apply as normal harness buckle. Quit worrying and go climbing.

thanks for the replies.
I've considered the BD Aspect also but there's a long discussion on the buckles sliding/loosening during actual climbing in another forum. BD couldn't replicate it in tests, but about 4 people have contributed to the thread about their experience of sudden slide/loosening.
.
anyone with actual experience on Singing Rock's Rock & Lock?
