I know this forum sometimes strays from Climbing to Politics / World Events, so I thought I would post. I hope something similar hasn't been previously posted.
OK, last thing I want is to be labeled “The Conspiracy Guy”. However I posted this because most of you consider yourselves progressively-minded...
Has anyone heard additional theories regarding the 9/11, World Trade Center and Pentagon events?
1.) There is a documentary/video currently circulating, which purports that The World Trade Center was supposedly blown up by a bomb (as well as by aircraft). I have yet to watch the full documentary, however I have heard about 15 minutes of excerpts. Amongst other things, it seems there is proof that a bomb was detonated on a certain WTC floor. However talk of this incident has been suppressed.

2.) There is another documentary/video circulating the internet, which purports that the Pentagon was not hit by a large commercial aircraft, but by a smaller aircraft or missile. The documentary/video depicts ideas such as: a commercial plane was never actually seen hitting the Pentagon, slow motion cameras caught something else hitting the Pentagon, no commercial plane wreckage was ever found, the Pentagon building wreckage does not match that of a normal commercial airplane accident, etc. The documentary/video then proceeds to explain how all 9/11 Pentagon event footage was confiscated. 3.) The first video also states that, throughout US history, there have been multiple incidents of the US government staging and/or considering staging incidents to garner popular support for going to war. I recently heard this on the radio as well; Guantanamo Bay was one of the examples.
I never considered myself a conspiracy theorist or a traitor to the US. I am just confused and curious about these conflicting claims. Any thoughts? I look forward to responses from all political parties. Thanks for helping me better understand this situation.

How do you think they got us into WW1( the sinking of the Lusitania) and WW2( the " "unprovoked" attack on Pearl)?
The US likes thier violence when it's cleanly presented to them on TV. For actually taking a stand and doing the right thing this country falls short. The Gov needs to make it seem like the boogie man is out to get us before we give a response.
Anything with Jay Leno on it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Wasn't the Pentagon hit from the side that the plane was coming from? I mean it isn't like the plan had to circle around to get at on specific spot.
Seems to me the conspiracy theories are the modern-day myth. We can't explain everything about something so it had to have been guided by the invisbile hand of someone who DID plan it all. It used to be God, now its the Illuminati.
