I am planning a trip to climb the S. Face of Mt. Waddington this summer and I am looking for some information and help on route descriptions, conditions, etc.
My partner and I are planning on climbing in mid to late July. Ideally I am looking for details such as trip reports, topos, pictures, etc. or to talk to people who have done the route or have some insight on conditions, best time to climb, etc.

We have a window of availability for late July and could also go in mid August or even early September.

Finally, if you know people who are planning a trip in the range in the near future that might be able to share a helicopter ride and save a little money I would greatly appreciate knowing their name and contact information.

Don't listen to gf. Sure, he says White Saddle Air is the way to approach the area, but that's only because he's a total wuss. Real climbers start the approach by paddling their kayaks from Vancouver Island.

If you want to approach Mt Waddington from the Knights inlet it requires a massive bushwack up a unused logging road, it sucks (speaking from personal experience).

Yeah, I know, I just couldn't pass up the chance to call Greg a girlie-man.

But then, compared to this Waddington story, we're all girlie-men. Well, all of us except one girl I used to know, who tried to approach Waddington from Kits Beach in Vancouver, via canoe. That was definitely burly.
