I've always joked that my somewhat mesomorphic musculature and vasculature were my body's way of compensating for poor technique, when compared with the more ectomorphic and more talented climbers.
Just from comparing my non-dominant, less dextrous forearm to my dominant forearm, I can see that my non-dominant forearm is slightly larger and more vascular; has anyone else noticed this?

(I can't find any research that is more specific than that in the link; and it doesn't really speak to my query.)

a horse trots through a meadow.
the lark adds sonic treble
to the hoof percussion,
and grass grows silently.
the blood coursing thru you
is a disciplined medium,
asse like,
carrying oxygen upon your accents.
the silent song on the grasses
tongue is the unsung miracle
that fills our blood's
saddle bags.

start mousing with your non-dominant hand. You'll be able to teach yourself to become somewhat ambidextrous which really quite rocks. Imagine being as good with placing pro with both hands. Yeah, it's nice.

I hadn't been thinking about nitric oxide, but that's an interesting sidebar--to what I was thinking as to the possibility that repetitively taxing your vasculature's ability to tranport lactate could somehow stimulate increased vasculogenesis--since an increased ability to synthesize and mobilize nitric oxide would also be useful it would seem.
