Thanks, Mike. I know the Fresno Bee reported the road could open any day, but it's nice to know that it will be open before the weekend.

Its a paved road all the way into the dam and the campgrounds. Further excursions on dirt roads are limited anyway. Most of the climbing is within walking distance.
I highly recommend it, even for non-climbers.
