i feel like a bit of a jakoff for posting a wanted add around here but i think it will be a little more likely to get an answer than my other add at rockclimbing.bla
plan A is to buy a new cliff cabana from black diamond, but after exchanging a couple of emails with them i have little to no faith in there interpretation of what "Late spring 2006" actually means. i kinda have a feeling that this might turn into a "early summer 2006" which means i have no ledge for my climb.
plan B is to buy a new metolius bombshelter, though it looks like a great ledge i'm a little put off about the idea of paying the same price as the cliff cabana for a ledge obviously not as good. not that the bombshelter doesn't look fine for my needs, its just the diffrence in paying $700 for 'the best' and paying $700 for 'the second best'.
plan C is where you fine fellas come in. sell me a used ledge and fly. if you happen to have an ACE or A5 cliff cabana i'd be thrilled, or a metolius or whatever. shoot me an email. EuRoForD@yaH00.c0m (all lower case).
plan D, i see an A5 double ledge for sale on ebay. arn't those things super small for a double???

werd, I'm 6'1" and had no trouble with an A5 double on the length. having my partners hip against mine all night was a drag, but hey, when you're tired, you're tired, right.

Drink yourself to sleep and it won't matter. There is no way I'm gettin tired enough unless I lead all day. Or I'm just out of shape.
You will like the bigger ledge!

yeah i really do want the bigger ledge. though chances of being tired from leading all day -and- drinking myself to sleep are very high, its also realistic that we could get stormed into the ledge for a day.
helloooooo.... black diamond..... here i am waving a bunch of money around, finish building some damn ledges!!!! arg!!

They say bigger is better, but my A5 double works find, I'm 6 1" and my partner is 6 4". And those shark fin dividers keep us from being Brokeback climbers.

yarr matey's, looks like that A5 ship will be exceeding the budget. if i was going to spend that much i'd just assume buy a new metolius.
well, time to set sail for the airport. fun fun.
