All I have done kona side is barely boulder at Hapuna beach. The sport anything is sport fishing. It's a beautiful beach but someone else may be able to add more.

Just returned from Kona, you will be hard pressed to find a trail you can hike on. Just a bunch of retirees with fine ocean views and PRIVATE Keep Out Signs. Go for a snorkle and booze cruz. The giant beers at the harbor are awesome.

The very southern tip on the Big Island, South of Kona, are awesome sea cliffs with deep water. You know where this is going . . . deep water soloing!

I jumped with my snorkelling gear to the water below. There's also a ladder.

Anyway, a better man would have climbed to his hearts content. Good solid rock to. Very nice. Very clear water also. Lots of fish to see.

Gee, someone has got to start putting up sport routes at South Point, Big Island Hawaii. It's begging to be done.

I'm sure there are plenty of places for safe deep water soloing along all those cliffs somewhere. Just a matter of scoping it out and putting in some effort.

I'm surprised there aren't known routes there. Maybe there is???

What Klimmer said. Man up!
And somebody should put up some routes in the old crater. There are lines there.
