Vintage slider nuts - who made these?

Just picked up a boatload of gear from someone who had quit the vertical. Including the Aliens, TCU's, quad cams,Friends, brass nuts, and more,(it was a SCORE) were these - Slider Nuts.

I remember using these in "81 or '82 and thinking they were da BOMB under flakes, etc. Of course, we didn't have micro cams back then. I mean, this was high tech back then to this Getting the Gray guy. I have some ball nuts, which I prefer, but ANYWAYS.......

I can't remember...who made these? They are only stamped with a size #. Was it Lowe?[photo[photoid=231246]id=231245]

Maybe it was '83 or '84 I used them ... yeah, memory is always the first thing to go....
