Because this is quickly becoming the best site on all of the net.....and everybody who is anybody in climbing seems to hit this place at least once an hour. I ask this Q. Anybody know of the whereabouts of Cranking Hank Levine, my first climbing partner. Last I hear he was in the Mammoth/Bridgeport/mono lake district.

He used to live in that really cool Frank Lloyd Wright Copy Cat house near the Buttermilks, with Mike Pope. A lot of these cats live in Swall Meadows, Little Round Valley and the like.
I have contact info for Pope, he might know.

I remember that house, really nice with the "trout for dinner" pond in the back yard....but they aimed the whole house in the wrong direction...big picture window looking..east- out over the owens valley, when it should have been west...right at Mt Humphreys...thanks Tar..
