sorry for the link only. Looks like there is a reason to celebrate tonight, other than its a powder day tomorrow...

FAtty, any predictions for the next big dreamer who aspires to drill ANWAR? Harriett Miers? She is more qualified for this position than Supreme Court, right? Girls got goals, even if they are f%$#@%^ up. And the mountain analogy? I am gonna be sick.

I would cheer this except for the fact that Bush will appoint some other equally noxious person to fill the post.

Edit: and Doolittle too, Mr. Milktoast.

sorry to break the bad news to you Bruce, apparently he is still alive...

this from Wikipedia:

'In 1995, Watt was indicted on 18 counts of felony perjury and obstruction of justice by a federal grand jury. The indictments were due to false statements made to a grand jury investigating influence peddling at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which he had lobbied in the mid to late 1980s. On January 2, 1996, as part of a plea bargain, Watt pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of withholding documents from a federal grand jury. On March 12, 1996 he was sentenced to 5 years probation and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and perform 500 hours of community service, a sentence which allowed him to avoid incarceration.'

January 2, 1996 - hey, my 40th birthday. I got a present I didn't even know about: a light tap on the wrist for James "Trees Pollute more than People" Watt.

Did ya all hear that the Bush people are working to install Dirk Kempthorne as interior secretary? As if they has not been bad enough, Governor Kempthorne is nearly 666.
