I looking to climb in Yosemite in a start of the April.
Is it good idea?
What is road condition?
What is climbing condition?
Im overseas and I know nothing about winter and snow in Yosemite region.

Welcome to Yosemite in April as you will see in a month, it will be like that! Whatever state it will be in April I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
The next few posts after mine will probably be much more intelligent, but that is all I can give at this time in March the first.

If it's a first, or zillenth time to Yosemite..it's always mind blowing..
Enjoy the blast!
Blazing..to fridgid..falls booming..river raging..trees wiggling..jays squawkin..coyotes howling..bears sniffin..airs wooing..everyones happy..cuz that waters falling fast! It's crazy good..get ready to crank some of the best pitch's on the planet.
Roads can change up high..RT 120 passes 6000ft. if it's storming come in RT. 140 2000ft. RT. 41 from Fresno..6000ft. also. Yosemite Valley 4000 ft..sometimes needs chains due to heavy wet snow in spring.

It's always a good idea to go to Yosemite.
Everytime I go I add days to my life. :)
Unfortunately I have to work so they get subtracted again! :(
I think you can climb every month of the year, you just need to pick the days. But even if you don't climb, how can you not revel in the wonder of the place!

I was in the Valley last April toward the end of the month and conditions were pretty good. With the exception of a little rain the first two days, The remainder of the week was great. As previously stated though conditions can change at any time. Both 140 and 41 were clear. Temps are still be pretty cool at night.

I meant adds days in a good way. As you go farther along the trail it gets shorter...
