If you already know the answer, please just let others have fun trying this puzzle.

You are given two apparently identical bars of metal. They are painted red at one end and gray at the other. You are told that one is a magnet, and the other is an ordinary bar of iron. The problem is to identify the magnet without using any other materials or objects. How can you do this?

NFW on Lois. But Juan, I would believe.

Except he never writes poetry.

Juan is too angry to write poetry today. He is worried about today's youth.

Possibly. OTOH - he could just be anxious about visiting an Islamic country, even if it is one of our allies. (or maybe because it is an ally!).

Somehow, I can't see Juan going to Turkey. Tijuana maybe.

Arrange the 2 in a "Tee", first with Bar A as the top, and then with Bar A as the vertical part. The iron wont stick to the magnet when it is directly in the middle (between the poles), but the magnet will stick in all positions (centered or not).
