I'm sure you all have heard about all the storms, tornadoes, loss of life, and homes down here (southeast). I just found this picture in one of my fields on my farm in TN. It blew in from somewhere in the southeast. Pictures have already been found over 200 miles from the twisters.

I just hope all the folks that got hit hard are doing alright, and wish I could find the owner of this picture. I know it means a lot to someone out there.[photoid=200306]

I remember seeing on TV that a woman has a web site dedicated to "lost and founds" from the tornadoes. She has hundreds of pictures posted on her site and gets the contact from the claimants. It might help to look her up (I did not write the IP address).

Hey Guck, thanks. I have found a facebook page that a lot of news agencies have cited for lost and found tornado stuff.

I just feel heart broke because finding this picture was cool but it also means someone lost there house and possibly there life. I would do anything to give them the little support I can.

hey there say, Q- ball.... oh my.... there is no way to really express how to feel from seeing that... or even finding it...

hope and pray that many of these momentoes will get back to family...

also:
i had read the article too, in japan, how the cleanup crews would
"stop and start" while folks nearby were able to be involved with running up to claim a find of personal things, when they were unearthed by workers...

they politely let the families run in to get something, before they resumed work, etc...

it really is a needed treasure for folks...
thanks for the share...
:)

Update- The Knoxville News Sentinel is running a story on the picture maybe tomorrow. I was working on the farm again today and found another picture, a check from Scott and Linda Jones, and a phonebook page from Cullman Alabama. Cullman is about 300 miles from here!

I've called every Jones in Cullman I can find but haven't figured it out yet. Some of the numbers I called are still down from the storm so maybe in a few days or weeks I can retry them. I hope everyone is recovering well and god bless those that lost their lives.

Here is the latest finds from 300 miles away (Assuming Cullman AL was the start of the journey). I made sure to take much of the personal info off the check. Would love any thoughts or advice. Take care all.
