Looking for anyone who might be coming from Nor Cal (Redding area) down to So Cal who can transport a van/truck roof rack for me. There's cash in it for ya!

Bump. Still looking for anyone who might be coming down the I-5 corridor the first or second week of April, through Redding, who would be willing to transport a roof rack to So Cal. Willing to pay a "transportation" fee!

Uh, yeah...
and if, perchance, a fellow taco member is unable to help a brother out, then a freight service would be my next option. Just trying to see if I can find someone who's making the trip anyway and wouldn't mind a little extra cash to make the delivery.

Did you consider Craigslist rideshare?

I understand you're looking to get a fellow ST member to run the rack-shuttle but if it comes down to it with no takers look into www.Uship.com you might be surprised how easy & cheap it is.

edit: any photo or additional description of the unit?

Thanks Susan. Looks like I might have to use a dedicated shipper. Not against that at all, just looking to make it happen via the community. The rack is actually pretty big... It's a ConFer roof rack 4'-6" X 8'-0", so it'll have to go in a truck or van or in a trailer. (Or on a roof. LOL!)
