Hey Suprtopians... spread the word on this fundraiser. We would love to see you there! I hope the link works! Cheers, Connie

Check out this blurb in the SLC Tribune and photo of Jeff Lowe for a fundraiser for Jeff Lowe's Metanoia in Orem, Utah next week!

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/outdoors/51247302-117/lowe-held-lake-salt.html.csp

A fundraiser for Jeff Lowe’s Metanoia on Tuesday February 22 from 6:00-9:30pm at the Utah Valley University 800 West University Parkway, Orem Ut At the Center Stage, on the north side of the main building Hosted by 12 Finger Outdoor Adventures and Hansen Mountaineering

6pm: Reception with Jeff Lowe and a silent auction of $1000 worth of brand new outdoor equipment courtesy of Liberty Mountian and DVD’s produced by Jeff Lowe. See the Metanoia Trailer and two great films featuring Jeff Lowe, Catherine Destivelle and Mark Wilford. The money raised will be put onto kickstarter to help us reach our goal of $125,000! Click here to see our progress

Showing at 7pm: Free Climbing the Nameless Tower of Trango – A Documentary Film In this classic climbing film, Jeff Lowe and Catherine Destivelle make the 2nd completely free ascent of the iconic Karakoram tower in Pakistan. They added a new, 7-pitch direct start to the Slovenian route. Join Catherine as she explores local markets and ceremonies. Stunning scenes of the early stages of the all-free ethic as applied to the worlds' greatest granite monoliths. This climb represented Destivelle's departure from sport climbing in favor of the "greater emotions" she found in the mountains. Produced by Jeff Lowe and David Breashears for broadcast on ABC in 1990.

Showing at 8:30pm: Cloudwalker - Documentary Film, A Banff Mountain Film Festival Winner - 1985 This 1984 classic, directed by Michael Tobias, profiles Jeff Lowe and Mark Wilford. Beautiful scenes of a failed attempt on the Moose's Tooth in the Central Alaska Range are juxtaposed with new routes in Colorado and an ascent of the ultra-classic Naked Edge.
We hope you will join us and bring your friends!

You guys really should action some of that gear on-line for those of us that can't make it to Utah. I bet if Jeff signs the stuff and give it a wider (online) audience it will be sold for top dollar.
(Just a suggestion.)

I really try to avoid stopping and getting out of my vehicle in Utah County... but I will try to make an exception for this.

Hey Conner,
Hows Jeff doing? He has not signed on to ST for over a month and I have not heard back from him in a while. Hope he's well and the project is going OK. Must be really busy promoting the film. Give him my best when you see him.

It'll be worth your while Utahman! Come and join the fun!

Thanks for your concern H. Jeff is doing okay. We are both super busy with fundraising, getting sponsors for the film and preparations for the final filming trip to Switzerland. I know he reads the taco often, but all his typing energy goes for the film lately.

Ho loves you guys so I'll send him on to say hey!

Thanks everyone for your support of Jeff and the film! We are coming down the home stretch on kickstarter. Click here http://kck.st/f1tue2 to make a pledge or increase yours... every $1 helps!

Thanks to those of you that have had the kickstarter link on your facebook page. Please put it up again if you are game... we need all the help we can get. We just hit $70,000!! Only $55,000 to go! Yikes!!

Tax deductible donations can be made too - just email us at info@jefflowemovie.com for details and we can apply that to kickstarter too!

Thanks everyone for helping us spread the word and for all your personal pledges on kickstarter. You all got the ball rolling in the first place!

With Gratitude,
Connie
