Royal Robbins new book "Fail Falling, My Life" is out now and like the first book in his series, is great. Good reading, full of history and things you'll only hear about by reading the book. Would be a great idea as a gift for yer climbing friends. Some killer good photos, highly recommend it.
It's been a good year for climbing literature with this series by Royal, the StoneMasters, by Dean Fidelman and John Long and Deans other book, Stone Nudes.
Peace

Oh Peter, I just about puked when I saw the photo this last weekend, man that was more than I needed to see or know about Dean. Wikes! But the book is really good, just had to explain to my mother in law that most of us climb with a wee bit more clothes on!

Apparently Dean has decided to get in touch with his inner Vulgarian or something. Or maybe his inner Stone Nude.

Hey Ron,
On your recommendation, I ordered RR’s "Fail Falling, My Life" for my Taco Secret Santa recipient. I ordered it from here http://www.royalrobbinsthebook.com/royal-robbins-fail-falling
I didn’t know how to make sure it would be shipped to the proper address, so I sent an email to that site. Anne explained how to do it. In my email, I said it was a gift. Anne asked if she could gift wrap it for me and put a note from me in the package. The service was so great that I called Anne to thank her. We spent ten minutes on the phone BSing. Fine lady! If any of you are considering buying this book, please use the above link.
