Stepped out the door into the coldest Seattle night in living memory. Ice. Snow. Full moon.

Just stood there, kind of mindless. Seattle winter should be rain, clouds underlit by city lights, traffic noise... Not silence and clear skies with stars and a full moon.

Yeah, I know, it's not the end of days, it's just a brief anomaly and soon we'll be back to temps in the low forties, endless drizzle, and gray skies. But just for a moment, I stood in mindless wonder.

Yes, lovely weather. It is strangely quiet in Seattle. The moon glows and the beer flows.

It is a nice shot. Nothing beats Seattle in the snow.
I think it was the winter of '70 - deep enough to actually get some
turns in and build up a ramp for a gelande contest - 3 days of delightful paralysis.

hey there say, ghost... very nice shot! ... with my little camera, i have gotten some neat moon shots, but not quite as rich as yours...

say, about two? nights ago, on a really cold night, though moisture in the air, i got this one...

no where near as nice as my nicer shot... but very interesting, at least...

well, since it turned out moiste, i tried for this instead... i have learned that stuff included around the moon, helps i show up better for me...

but, i got a moist outerring glow of red, in this shot from lighting...

but, at least the mooon show up, edgewise, better... :))

well, we got more rain than you did, but just in drizzly spurts in this area, some got more...

been very cold, though, and they say snow is fixing to fall on or after thanksgive... kind of storm-like, but we wil see...

god bless to all as the thanksgiving season, is here..
:)

man oh man, think i need the heat on now... :O

ps:
think this was an eve before the full moon...

Morning, and the clouds have returned. We're expecting another day of subfreezing temps, but then it'll be back to soggy normal.
