Possibly the scariest thing to read on a topo, even more frightful than seeing "5.9+".

I remember one up on the Black Wall at Donner... "You go Where!?!"

The one on the Casual route on the diamond is choice, people die on it...

I led the one on Little John once, with Chouinard (who did the FA) watching at the base.
"boy this traverse really is improbable, wonder where you start< " i called down to my belayer standing next to him.
Yvonne just stood there silently arms crossed on chest..

loose lips slip beta....

The Catwalk is pretty bitchin' for the air alone, even if it's not too "imporbable"....HA!

Jaybro, that is funny. I think it took me three tries (on separate days) to finally figure out where that thing went.

The first time I did the catwalk, from the top of E. Butt, there wasn't really a trail like there is today. There is this one very improbable traverse around a corner, very exposed Fourth Class. You make one or two moves, then it eases.

If you go that way now, you save a whole bunch of up and down. Butt Pucker, I say.

Improbable traverse- that's on higher cathedral spire. Once you know to look for something improbable, it's easy to find.

I used to go out with a woman named Kat. And walk she did!
