We found a set of keys at the Fault Line. They are way old, so if these are your keys, you already solved the problem.

They look like keys to a 70's 80's toyota.

Any stories- hot wire? Long walk home?

On the other hand, the fault line is awesome. Nothing hard for the super duper climbers, nothing easy for the newbies, just tall and good slots to pull on, and cracks, sheesh, there's some good short cracks there.

They are long if you don't have a rope, short if you do. Kind of a strange size, but high quality.

Can do.

I hadn't climbed that stuff since I got hurt at deadmans.

I forgot how good it is.

I'm bringing tape next time.

I know, tape is aid, but I've got soft hands these days. I want to do that fist crack at the end of the crag.

Fault line is close to June, I hadn't thought of that. I've climbed the ant lion den, and the Bachars a ton, but I had never made it to the fault line until today. I'm thinking in the next few weeks, I'll hit the fault line on a Friday night, camp out and try the trifle tower routes in the morning on the way to my folk's place in Bridgeport.

There was only a hint of chalk on two routes there, every thing else was first ascent style. Way cool.

You should check out the granite boulders in the Pine Cliff area of June Lake . I took the kids to the beach back there last week and saw so much potential carnage up on the hillside , and even right next to the road .

It's in the guide book, with topos, pictures and everything. If people want to go there they can. Not everyone will like this place anyway.

I was just hoping to hear some old stories.

I find it amazing some of these places were ever found out in that maze of trees.

Is that a shot of the Pine Cliff at June? Where is that exactly?
