Spent the night sleeping under the stars, at site 32 in Hidden Valley, on my way from Vegas to LA... What a blast...

Early Morning...

What a cool place... can't wait to go back and do some climbing, when it's not a million degrees!!!!!

Ha, that's my weak a$$ San Francisco self for you...

I left one of our coldest months here to spend a week in 100+ temps...

Interesting to say the least...

Being from NY, I am familiar with heat and humidity but nothing compared to that...

Up until about 2 weeks ago the weather had been perfect. Mid 80s in the park! Strange summer indeed...

I love this time of year for cycling in the park. We go out in the evening and you can ride the center line for miles without ever seeing a car and the sunsets are always amazing!

Seth, contact me, I think you have my number.

We have a large group that goes every Thanksgiving. It IS as cool as it looks. My favorite part....scrambling at night after dinner.

ha, it was just a chance to get there, hadn't been yet...

the other half of the trip (la to vegas) took me 3.5 hrs, you jokester...

the heat stroke is still a possibility though...

blue: yeah I am down, have your number saved... told ezra too, but the lady and I are moving up tahoe way (possibly Reno but I am hoping truckee). I will let you know the deal as it becomes more clear, but once up there you and the family are welcome to a soft bed, cold beer, and good meal...

the scma probably still has its josh season kickoff on thanksgiving, complete with wine tasting. i learned an important lesson about wine there: red wine warms you up, white wine cools you off. we'd camp at sheep pass where there always seems to be a chill wind blowing. the red wine would be gone by 8, the white wine went begging.
