I only want to share me and my families excitment that our friends have just summited Everest. It's an amazing feat done by an amazing family. Technology has blown all my expectations. Watching Jordan, Paul and Karen track to the summit... incredible... Paul and I chatted several days ago, me in my bed and he at 21000 feet on the North col. We both became Dads at about the same time and it brings tears to my eyes to know what he has done now with his son.
Safe trip down you guys, we love you

regardless if "Chomolungma" is your thing or not, the "follow-the-team" link from the kids website is pretty cool... there's quite a lot of pix/profiles etc to click on (downside, it may be based on stupid microsoft silverlite & may be a RAM hog; only one way to see if it works)

*i did see a little article on a another climber that helped clean garbage on his mt everest when he goes trip up... funny, how they add little odds and ends into all these news reports... it was good to hear, though, too...

Great news!
Good to know that all Jordan's friends are celebrating with him.
Whether Everest is your thing or not, you have to see this as a great personal accomplishment.
Dan, your excitment is felt by me; so happy for you and everyone that was pulling for him.
I heard about it first this morning on ESPN!

I'm sure his sponsors are proud that he got their logos to the summit.

Agreed. In more ways than one.
I've seen Jordan in a couple of short videos now. Strikes me as a very smart kid. Good on him.
