It occurred to I haven't posted a worthwhile historical piece in a while. Too much name -calling and other BS going on...

Now that Chris Jones is on board let's celebrate with this piece from Mountain 3, May 1969.

I always LOVED that shot of Tompkins in the supermodel sunglasses!

Of course the flip side is that if you don't take bivy gear and a bivouac is required....it's gonna suck extra bad!
