I just saw the weather and Wilma is now a Category 5 Hurricane. The pressure of 884mb was measured at 4:40am ET. The pressure dropped from 970mb at 5:00pm ET on Tuesday. 80+mb drop in 9 hours, could be a record. Oh yeah, 888mb(Gilbert) was the lowest ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin prior to right now...

The number was so low, the scientists who took the measurement are recalibrating their barometer for confirmation of this historic data.

...And it makes me wonder.

Let's hear some of the theories behind this year's onslaught...
Fluke? Anomaly? Revelation? Is this a sign of the last, decisive battle between good and evil?

...(refrain)And it makes me wonder.

What do you think?

"Fluke? Anomaly? "
-Given last year's record in Fla, I doubt it.
"Revelation? "
-as a wake up call, we can only hope, as far as a biblical gig, nah
"Is this a sign of the last, decisive battle between good and evil?"
-looks indecisive from here. the teams are still unclear

Actually its a "weather control device" that the terrorists have created. If you do some research, you'll see that they have been working on it for quite sometime.

I miss the sexism of the good old days, when hurricanes were only given female names.

Let blow over FLA with as quickly as possible to minimize the damage and then it can park itself between Bermuda and NC for... let's say 3 years as a Cat 1. That would be sweet. I would have to move to the rock reefs of Rhode Island or Block Island for a couple of years.

This sucker is steaming right for my hometown. It's time to get ready for things to get rowdy. If we're screwed we're screwed, nothing to do but batten down, trim the trees off the roof, and sharpen a couple old chainsaw chains for hacking up the aftermath.

Can't wait for FEMA to f*#k this up and leave bush to blame his own brother and the local governments in the three southwest FL coastal counties, which between them have about 4 elected officials who aren't republicans. Maybe we can get some of that ice from up in Maine.
