Some of you "more experienced" socal guys might be able to help me here, as this place, even though its in the Fry guide, doesnt really get touched much. I go up there every now and again since its close. Just wondering if anyone has any old photos of problems and ratings if possible...

There is a hand full of routes on mountain project. And many more being added. Me and some friends have been going out there a lot and rediscovering old routes and putting up new ones.

Your post inspired me to look up some info since I hadn't heard of the area. Found this little video which was just posted a few days ago. Looks pretty cool!

Stoked to hear about some renewed interest in El Cariso. Continuing developement! Music to my ears. I havent seen the place in over 20 yrs. A friend tried to access the area about 10 yrs ago, said it looked abandoned. Ouch! Felt like a dagger in my chest.
How about the candy store? Last time out there in 88'or 89' there were still several unconquered BPs. Give it look too.
Cole, thanks for the video-pump.

Thank you all, for all your hard work in the resurrection of a fine local hangout.
