Now that is a trip report for the ages.
Like modern gladiators storming a nasty, dark, evil castle.
Such a brooding and sinister stage.
While you're at it, check out Bubba's CV:
From 1980 to 2006, something significant each and every year.
That's really something.

Not only is Barry a good climber but it is always fun to go climbing with him. He is one of the good guys.

Fabulous! Unfortunately, a lot of the scans are made at too low a resolution. Barry - please rescan so we can see more detail. Thanks!

A very noble ascent. The Cheese certainly had the eye. Barry is without a doubt a really great guy and a really great climber but Dave Cheesmond was in a league of his own. Look thru a guidebook for the climbs he was involved in those few years he lived in Canada and its amazing the leap in difficulty he introduced to climbs and climbers in the Rockies. I think he really opened the eyes of the local boys at that time, things they hadn't even considered.

Bump.
Just read Blanchard's account of his & Cheesmond's ascent in his terrific memoir, The Calling. Highly recommended.
