It's funny how lots of stories are talking about PTSD and the history of violence at Hood.

WHAT?

The dude is a muslim convert! Why don't they focus on that? The dude hadn't deployed to war yet, how the f*#k can he have PTSD????

What are the names of the 2 other suspects? This sounds like a coordinated assault, not someone 'losing it'.

A psychiatrist who's a Major wouldn't have seen any actual combat.

And before my Afghani buddy chimes in, no, not all muslims are the same. But...

If it's only one guy who's responsible, his muslim religion could be just incidental.

Were the columbine shooters Muslims?
Was that dude who shot all the little Amish girls at the school Muslim?
That dude in the clocktower, he must have been a Muslim too.
That dude at Virginia Tech, he was a muslim of course.
Only Muslims do that kind of stuff, RIGHHHTTTT??????????

No, wildone, they were anti-depressant users.

Like I said earlier, not all muslims are like this but there seems to be a weird offshoot that wants to kill infidels. They feel compelled by their religion to do so.

Sad that you compare this to Columbine.

You're covering a long timeline with less than a dozen people. Have you watched the news lately???

Wow, you guys...no class. 12 people dead, 31 wounded, and you all turn the incident into politics and race issues within a couple of hours. How about just a little bit of time out of respect for those involved, and the families and friends?

If there are any ST'ers out there who have friends or family involved in any way in this event, my sincerest condolences to you all in this horrible tragedy. Stay close to family, and try to find peace.

"You're covering a long timeline with less than a dozen people. Have you watched the news lately???"

You know, I don't watch the news, but if I did, I bet we would not be watching the same channel.

bluering, You are a pretty smart guy, so I am going to have to chalk up the way you gloss over 2000 years of violence committed in the name of, and frequently by order of, various Christians and their institutions, to willful ignorance.

People do hateful, destructive things; people of all religions, and those with no particular creed. Trying to focus blame and hatred on a particular group in order to comfort yourself by naming "the enemy" is hateful and destructive.

I send all possible comfort to those who have lost family and friends in this tragedy.

How's it racist??? I have nothing against people of various faiths. In fact, Mexicans are some of the most religious Catholics next to Italians. I climb with a cool muslim. Employed another, no complaints. Mormons, Hindus, whatever...It ain't about religion, it's about the current militancy in Islam and the willingness to kill 'kafirs' and die 'as a martyr'.

You'd have to be an idiot to not immediately assume terrorism when a shooting takes place by 3 shooters. If Islamic fundamentalism doesn't come immediatelt to mind is weird...to me.

Am I the only one here that is capable of piecing together a puzzle??? Do you people really forget so quickly???

Whatever....call me what you will, but mark my words, this is heating up.

No, they don't blue, especially when it was a family member or friend...so how about a little respect for once, and shut the f*#k up for a little while?

What it's 3 shooters now Blue?
Did you know that when you wrote what you did?
And what do Mexican Christians have to do with anything?
What a fricken insult to even suggest anyone of us would "forget"...

Seems you jump to conclusions, connect dots that are before your eyes without waiting, the "expert" on terrorism, investigation, and what is best for everyone.

I don't like to bad mouth folks ( it's okay to disagree) but I got to write something to the sh*t you spewed on this thread.

Why don't we wait and see, let the real experts do their thing, and let the families and friends have their peace.
For all you (or I) know some of those folks might be reading this thread.
