The High Peaks remain my favorite Pinnacles destination, in part because it remains less crowded with climbers. The raptor closures take some of the best climbs in the spring, but there's still plenty of good stuff to climb.

Great to see a shot of Dragonfly Dome. I remember when Roper and I did the first ascent in 1960 we had run out of bolts after the lead,ie. no rappel bolts for the summit. So we used the old technique of simultaneous rappellng from opposite sides of the pinnacle. Takes some getting use to! Of course I got the longer side and Roper the shorter. Here is a Denny photo from that day.
