peshastin pinnacles
Tuesday November 10, 2009 5:26pm
the pinnacles are all crumbly sandstone with almost no places for anything but the smallest of gear, really exposed, and all of your gear will be really sketchy... that said, there are really good veiws when you get to the top, and there are good routes if you look awhile.

I climbed there in the 90's and had a great time. I didn't lead, just followed, so clueless on the pro, only know it was fun. Weird how the front is steep and the backside is a gentle slope down!

When there's a route named "Sandbox" it doesn't take a lot of imagination to extrapolate. Still some fun times there slippin' 'n slidin' in Kronhoffers and RR's.
