Here is another trip report link...

http://www.electricant.net/grundyman/windrclimb2010.html

for those too lazy to click, I'll just say it was a 6 day trip into the Deep Lake and Cirque of the Towers areas of the Wind River Range in Wyoming with Dawn to climb The Steeple, Lost Temple Spire, Wolf's Head, and Warbonnet.

Here are a few pics to whet your appetite (if I can get them to post)...

Great shots, thanks. Three decades ago we left a fattie in the summit register which was located right under where you are sitting on Warbonnet.

We didn't see any summit registers although we didn't spend a lot of time looking for them, I did poke around a little bit. I wonder if someone has taken them down or I just wasn't looking hard enough.

"We didn't see any summit registers although we didn't spend a lot of time looking for them, I did poke around a little bit. "

There was a little scree in the boulder nest you are sitting on in the shot. Buried under the scree was a 2" O.D. x 10" long screw together cylinder containing the register. We had a great day disposing of our hard liquor stash at the falls since perfect weather allowed us to finish early. While we were trying to give away excess food we ran into Herb Swedlund.

Great photos. Climbed in the Cirque with a couple of my bros and a friend several years ago. Your TR triggered memories of fun climbs and excellent times!
