First, have to put crimpie in the title to get some attention. I did actually promise to post this when it was done. Sorry for a bit of spraying in the TR but I don't have many years of spraying left in these old bones!!! We old folk need to take our triumphs where we can get them. It's not the big stone but I live in KANSAS so you do what you can!

Coming from someone who grew up in Kansas, nice work daddy-o!!!
I've always wanted to do the 100 route day in Joshua Tree.
I'm re-inspired. Thx!

Awesome! I knew you two would crush and you did. :) Crimp Scampi is such a fun climb there - really, lots of good stuff. Did you do Lavender Eye too? Wicked crux.
Big prizes?
What's up next? After your birthday challenge and now this, what do you have lined up?
Thanks for sharing!

Crimpie, I am not a 5.12 climber so Lavendar Eye is not on my list yet. Prizes were pretty amazing. To start, there were 2 big crash pads, a full set of c3's, 12 black diamond draws, tons of Patagonia clothes, sleeping bags, helmets, La Sportiva shoe coupons, Mountain Kahakis, ... I got a nice Patagonia shirt/jacket and Nat got a sleeping bag. Time to switch to trad and aim for Red Rocks next year or maybe even for the Thanksgiving bash.

Or come out to Colorado! Ah, I forgot the rating on Lavender Eye. It must be due to that roof move (I never could get that move). Fun climb though.
