Sort of a trip report: The Leap, June 2013
Saturday June 15, 2013 1:33am
No better place to take a new outdoor climber than the Leap. One of my son's friends from the climbing gym joined us for a couple of days of classics.

I last climbed Corrugation Corner 36 years ago. Had forgotten what an excellent line that is.

If you were climbing ahead of them on Bear's Reach on Tuesday in a black shirt and blue shirt: send me a note, I've got some photos.

If you were climbing East Crack with your 10-year-old daughter on Tuesday June 11: send me a note, I've got some photos.

Nice one! I'm hoping to be fortunate enough to have similar experiences with my sons one day. They're too young at the moment.

Corrugation corner is a spectacular climb, especially since I had no idea of what to expect when I climbed it.

So is the line but less of a nice surprise.

By the way, what's up with climbing pants with wide legs? Most of mine are the same. All that fabric flapping around your ankles making it harder to see where/how to place your feet.

Thanks for a nice report!
