Thank you for those beautiful pictures and the link to your report. Whenever I see pictures of Tyrolean or Dolomite limestone, I wish I had the money to hop on a flight there. NOw if only our Sierra limestone were more solid!

guys in fact i have to say that i visited the Rockies a couple of times, winter and summer...plus i spent some great climbing days in red rocks and zion and enjoied the spring in indian creek... if any of you happens to pass by in the alps please drope me a note as i would me more than happy to share some of my time with you guys

why don't you mention what kind of route this is and where ?
I really like those careless ones, but when it comes to their fiscal advantage, they become utmost precise ...

location: wetterstein, tirol/bavaria
summit: schüsselkar, westridge tower
route: knapp-köchler
grade: 5.9, some sections 5.10b
5 pitches until junction to "spindler"

in this region are a lot more better and longer routes, all restored now with bolts
