You are one crazy girl to be up there in winter by yourself...

I made a winter ascent 4 years ago - I thought it was pretty challenging and that was during daylight hours. Be careful!

It does have a Blair Witch Project kind of a feel to it, doesn't it!

I've posted the second attempt.

Stay tuned for the third attempt.

Timbot and I had a go like this about ten years ago. We picked a full moon night. Whoa, it feels so forbidding up there at night, especially after you leave treeline. The moon rose, but everything around us except the summit was in clouds, with a perfect hole above the summit. We could kinda see the moonlight below the lip, but were still in the dark, and the wind just increased as we went. Hard to imagine a go at this alone, it's pretty freaky up there at night. We turned back about a mile from the summit.

Bold attempt! If I did it again I'd plan to catch the sunrise on top.
