Well, snow is piling up as I type this and the road to paradise is now closed for the next 5-6 months, unless you're Grahm and Leo and own snowmobiles. It was a great season. Tons of fun climbing and new adventures. December 5 was no exception. It started out 60 degrees and blue skies, but by the end of the day it was in the low 30s and the 3 storms in the Pacific were obviously lining up for their winter assault on the Sierra.

Nice trip report! I can tell it is a magical place for you. I'm missing the high country right(East side & the Meadows) now as well. I'm not quite feeling the spirit of ice climbing yet but I leave for Colorado in a week to start the season off. That will take my mind off the Meadows until spring. Thanks for sharing.
