Another morning, another day to take pics and do some climbing. Or so I thought.

Arrive right on time, but not ready to go. Coffee, talk, trade of cams for custom hammer and drills is accomplished. I definitely got the better end of that deal. Thx Banquo! But eventually I'm still lagging so the compadres leave me at the truck. I pack up the gear after a bit, take care of the necessaries and start inward with the camera on the neck. Well, after I realize I forgot my harness do I start in. GAH!

The quick version: I managed to boulder some, solo 3 easy routes, and take a lot of pictures. Only some of which are worth posting.

Jon gets coaxed into going up next. Poor guy has questionable knobs to work with, but still does a crazy ass stance leaning sideways to lay down the necessary protection.

thx. Lars, word on the street is there are crazy ass routes hidden up in the crevices that you had a hand in. :)

Talked to someone else on email recently that had an eye on some hidden long projects.

Mystery is good for the soul.

It's pretty interesting to come across bolts that weren't documented, or to hear Bhilden identify obscure Axe Nelson bolts by type and year of FA.

Jefe, fun stuff!

Paul, definitely! But better with each ascent. Btw, one of bolts I thought may have been you or Belizzi, by tunnel trail, that I may have mentioned before, was done by a friend of Clinks'.

Thx Justin.

Thank you for posting. Since the day I met you and your friends out there, I have not been back. :( Hope to make it out there some day. The sunsets are sure pretty and the formations are very original.

Munge can crack the whip of encouragement just fine, with or without a harness. I seem to climb better when he is on the team. Thanks for posting beauty pics.

Aaron, that was pushing it. JC did nice work as well.

Charles, viewing the routes from TT may give that effect. TT area looks like 6 routes in 12 feet from SSS

Charles,

Please advise as to the proper objective distance between routes that is appropriate for Pinnacles since you are accusing of us of putting in 'squeezed' routes.

Happy to discuss facts and principles, but not ambiguous claims that imply we did not judge the distance appropriately somehow.

I've replied to your other post to confirm those are the arguments you wish to persuade us with. I'll address each in turn if you like.

and thx for the compliment on the pics. Long way to go, but lots of celebration of the ground up ethic at Pinns in there.

Thanks for posting a TR Munge, It was a pleasure to meet the team. I need to go more often and get my climbing mojo back. I like the photo of Aaron smoking.

I have a better way to carry your camera then around your neck Munge. ;)

Nice pics, and crazy to remember it's spring there.

Moar groveling in gullies, and soaring on small hold face climbing again soon?

Be well!
