It's a pleasure from start to end reading your French memoires. I'm sure you're making your father proud... ^^^^
It was sometime ago and we were young. My dad would have called us stupid. At least he would have called me stupid. Like many parents he tends to treat his children’s partners with respect and a confiding air that suggest he feels sorry for them. This leads him to occasionally apologise to them for the existence of the fools they have married.

Seems to be a committing kinda move !
My wife ,
(when she was still just some big blond chick with a sister in Scottsdale for the winter,)
Laid the whole enchilada down on a pay phone remember those?
Money, Cards and More.
. and walked away!?
It was the day before Christmas, Broke and no ID or anything that would be needed In Scottsdale.
So much of the next three months was in that little bag!
It was off to the desert with her, immediately, no Christmas for us.
any way I am now married to that dittz and I would be long gone,
if not for her and her smooth moves.
This month, this year, makes a full generation together and we have Two KIdz !!??
YES DWAIN<
THERE IS A COLD SPOT IN HELL<
THE SPURNED SPAWN HAS SPAWNED
TWICE!!
THE DRILLS, THE DRILLS ARE CALLIN'?

That was a fantastic story!
I climbed on the cliffs, above Monaco in 1971, and even had a few drinks in the casino, just for laughs.

Wonderful story. Well writ and full of suspence. One of those stories you'll tell (or have told) at dinner parties for decades. Thanks for sharing.

Great story.
As a lawyer, I once had a client who expected a deposit into his account of $30,000 and instead got $300,000. He pointed out the error but the transmitting bank confirmed the higher figure was correct (though it wasn't). So client took the money, then got sued for a refund within six weeks. While in possession of the money (in 1999 at theheight of the dot com madness) he made a considerable sum before turning the money back over after the suit was filed. No effort was ever made to "hide" the money (say as by transferring it to another bank account, etc.) so the bank couldn't say anything, but "Please give back the money" via its lawsuit. They got their money; client kept the return on investment. Sounds like a happy capitalist ending, no? As was yours. I admire your wisdom in not "taking the money" and running. It was the correct choice. Again, thanks for a great story. I like your multi pitch climbing website too. PS. Omitted helper verb in your title.
