New Route on Mt. Morrison, 'Caught Inside'

Preston Rhea and I just completed 'Caught Inside' on Mt. Morrison. It's a super fun climb and I hope people go do it. I would definitely do it again myself. Rumors of Mt. Morrison being choss are exaggerated, but the protection is a little challenging. Bring beaks.
The route name is very fitting from experiences we had on route from spin drift coming down. For those of you that surf, you can probably relate :-)
Dave E, I hope you don't mind us using the name of your route in josh.
Go fast and take chances.

Cool! Glad to see that you're out and doing stuff again after your accident (which I know you had b/c I lurk here). Morrison looks like the home of potentially cool winter routes, since the rock looks more featured and therefore interesting to climb when there's a bunch of snow everywhere but not ice. Right on!

Many years ago I climbed the first 50-75' of your route. At least I'm fairly certain it's the same gully.
Nice job!

Awesome, looks super fun! I wanna do it at some point!
Can you get a photo of Morrison that would show the Death Couloir and your route included to get a sense of where it is?

Thanks guys!
Vitaliy M, if you do the approach for the death couloir and look up the valley you can see the line. Just keep hiking up the valley along the base of the wall. It's very obvious. I hope you get to do it!

Cool! Way to go after alpine climbing in a very non-alpine year.

Here is the requested beta picture showing Caught Inside in relation to the north face of Morrison and the Death Couloir. This picture was taken back in November, thus the extreme lack of snow.

Wintertime Morrison is somewhat solid but summertime it is the proverbial chosspile.
