Black Hills Christmas Card

My wife and I got an afternoon to get out on Sunday and skied into Mt. Rooseveldt where Seth Bullock built a memorial to his friend Teddy. Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas and you have friendships in your life that are powerful enough to build monuments to.

Hey Mike! We climbed together this summer at DT, Merry Christmas! Been putting up some great routes, (well great for North Dakota) up on some buttes in ND. You should check em out this summer!

I was just talking about this tower yesterday. We were talking about what towers in the hills he hadn't been to yet. He had never head of Roosevelt tower before.
I'll show him your pics to give him something to shoot for.
Hard to get up that spiral staircase with your skis on ;-)

I just got back from Hot Springs on Monday.
1 degree there when I left, -7 going through Edgemont.
Brrrr! even in the car! Finally down to Denver, where it
was a balmy 47 degrees. Quite the swing!
