Overview
The Northwest Books on Lembert Dome was one of the first technical climbs in Tuolumne and remains one of the most popular. Two pitches of 5.6 with several sections of varied climbing and some polished rock make this a challenging route. Due to the grade and the quick and easy access, it is extremely popular. Many parties miss the traverse out of the corner of the second pitch, giving many 5.6 leaders their first encounter with leading a 5.9 crack.
