The Globe has commonly been referred to over the years as the entrance boulder (it is right next to the South Entrance - GPS 37.20222, -112.98890). This is an awesome boulder with countless options for challenging problems. Just about every prominent line up the thing has been done over the years. It’s tall, so crash pads are a welcome addition to your visit here. The top of the boulder has a couple of old bolts that can be equalized with two cordellettes for top roping. The hanger on one of the bolts comes and goes, so a stopper that has sliding chock can be handy. Zion has never been a bouldering destination, not too many people have cared to name, rate, or record anything, so FA info is next to impossible to determine. Most of the problems up The Globe lie in the 5.10 to 5.11+ (V1-V3) range, with a few harder ones here and there. For the most part the difficulty is fairly obvious from the ground. Traversing either clockwise or counter-clockwise poses a classic and equally difficult challenge in the 5.12 range (V5). Climber Beta on Globe Boulder
