Begin by climbing any one of the dirty-looking cracks on the west face to reach the Pitch 1. Another option is to start on Cave Crack. Climb the normal Pitch 1 of Cave Crack, clip the first set of chains and continue up the corner and out the roof to another bolted anchor (watch the rope drag going out the roof). From there, scramble up and left around the aręte to the start of Mean High Tide. Rack: see topo. Descent: from the summit do two rappels down the west face to the top of Pitch 3 and the base of “the banana.” Two more rappels down the route takes you back to the big vegetated ledge above Cave Crack. Down-climb over to Cave Crack, and rappel to the ground. Climber Beta on Mean High Tide
