From the ranger kiosk, look about 100 feet up the road; the 170-foot-tall wide hand crack is obvious. There is a good trail that takes you directly to Boring Crack and also accesses Wheels on Fire. Boring Crack can be broken into two pitches and is also the start to a Jeff Lowe aid line called Loadstone that was filmed for a movie.

Rack: 2 ea to 4”, extra 3-3.5”, nuts, 2 ropes.

Descent: rappel the route.
