The views of Half Dome at sunset from the popular tourist pull-off at the point are unforgettable. Below the rocky viewpoint is a big boulder with a couple of highball splitter cracks known as the Olmstead Cracks (V0-V1). On the opposite side of CA-120, just a bit west, is a big pond/lagoon with a few good problems scattered around it and potential for maybe a few more. On the backside of the pond/lagoon is the classic of the Olmstead area: the highball Conquistador V8. Notable Bouldering Problems
