This is a scattered collection of boulders by the old Civil Conservation Camp, with a few problems hiding out on good granite. It’s pretty sharp here and sees little traffic – good fun when you deadpoint a sloper for the tenth time and slide off. There are many mantle/lip problems here – you can polish a skill that’s essential, but seldom practiced. Landings here tend to be less than ideal–multiple pads and spotters will be helpful. There’s potential on the hillside above the talus field encountered past the first collection of boulders. By the next edition of this book, there will probably be 60+ boulder problems at this area.
