I attempted to climb this on June 8 with a ski in and camp at Ruby Lake. The couloir climbed fairly easily but was relatively soft snow. Hit the notch and the wind hit us. I got 30 feet up and decided to pull the plug. Bailed off my favorite nut "the H nut", handed down to me from Harrison Hood.
The route looks fun but intimidating and probably want zero wind when you do it. There is a slung block with rap ring at the top of the snow couloir.
Snowboarding the couloir was the consolation prize.

*What is "Route Beta"?
It's climber slang for information or tips on a route as in, "what's
the beta on that route?" As a service to fellow climbers we ask SuperTopo
guidebook users to post tips and updates to this website if they have relevant
information to share after a climb.
