Series of ledges leads to an easy topout, obvious solo for setting up top rope on the nearby routes, and has rap rings if you want to get back down that way instead of downclimbing. Can be sketchy in the wind however, and on afternoons when it blows in off the pacific it would be smart to rope up. Small tricams .5-2 and medium stoppers (metolius 3-5) make for a secure lead. If setting up top rope here for beginners, be warned that the bolt on climber's left is awkwardly placed, cross-loading your carabiner - might be smarter to thread a sling through the eyebolt or rap ring.

*What is "Route Beta"?
It's climber slang for information or tips on a route as in, "what's
the beta on that route?" As a service to fellow climbers we ask SuperTopo
guidebook users to post tips and updates to this website if they have relevant
information to share after a climb.
