Overview
Golfer's Route is the perfect introduction to knob climbing in Tuolumne. It's a beautiful, varied and sustained route with two short pitches that can be linked with a 60m rope. It is well-protected by Tuolumne standards, but often that means 20 feet between protection. Due to the excellent knobs, a great stance can almost always be found to regain your nerves. The climb is in a water streak and early season finds the route wet. However, due to the south-facing exposure, it dries fairly early, and is often a warm place to climb on colder days. Also, due to the short pitches and excellent rappel anchors, it's a great choice to squeeze in climbing before thunderstorms. However, lighting hits everywhere, so don't push it!
